Internship<\/h2>\n

My internship in the 6th semester of my studies for Industrial Design was at the Bosch Engineering GmbH<\/em> in Abstatt, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany.<\/p>\n

I worked in the department Car Multimedia – Mobile App Development (my team moved to Project Internet of Things after 3 months) for 6 months as an UX + UI Design intern.<\/p>\n

Tasks<\/h3>\n

  • Concepts and Design for web and mobile applications in the automotive sector<\/li>\n
  • Independent work projects<\/li>\n
  • Continuous consultation with software developers, experts and engineers<\/li>\n
  • Creation of storyboards, sketches, wireframes, mockups, graphics<\/li>\n
  • Working with Adobe Creative Suite<\/li>\n
  • Execution and evaluation of user tests<\/li>\n

    • IAA Mobility – Motorshow Germany<\/strong> (Use cases for a\u00a0CMs Truck\/Coach Cockpit, mockups with Illustrator\/Photoshop<\/span>)<\/li>\n
    • Bosch Motorsport<\/strong>\u00a0(designed 70 Icons for\u00a0CK-M12 CAN Keypad and other graphics<\/span>)<\/span><\/li>\n

        Bachelor thesis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Halfway through the internship I also decided to work with the company for my bachelor thesis, so I stayed there afterward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The bachelor thesis was then written with the same department, now called PJ-IOT-C (Project Internet of Things – Technology Cluster) with the title „Concept and design of an interface for the visualization of innovative vehicle functions“. Which was a project between Bosch, Jaguar Land Rover<\/em> and Home connect<\/g><\/em>.<\/g><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Sneak Preview Event<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          For the sneak preview, the BEG students recruit other interested young people for an independently planned event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          This required presentation technique and organizational skills, argumentation skills, as well as the ability to deal with conflicts within group work, problem-solving skills, ability to think and judge, and initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The event lasted 8 hours and the planning took about 2 months in total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The BEG presents many areas and departments and shows potential interns and working students the campus and everything it has to offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          It was my job to design the agenda sheet and to take photos on the day of the event, as well as to help with the assembly and dismantling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
