15 employees were invited to test the app. The testing was based on a previously created questionnaire based on Lean UX principles with the hopes to generate qualitative feedback. The teams usually consisted of two or three respondents from MHP and a testing team of three students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The team members took on three functional roles; these were the roles of the moderator who conducted the interviews, the technician who took over all technical tasks and the record keeper who recorded the testers‘ input. For all testing rounds, I took on the role of the moderator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Using various tasks, which were divided into four categories (registration, on-boarding, trips and menu), the test subjects were asked to navigate through the pool app and its functions in order to identify any specific usability problems, the general user experience and the technicality and design of the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After completing the test phase, all results of the individual testing teams were evaluated and prioritized by the students in a clustering process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For that, the test results were evaluated separately depending on the user experience flow (registration \/ on-boarding, trips and menu) and the problems that occurred during testing were recorded. That way, the most important problems could be worked out, summarized and quantitatively weighted according to their content and the motivation of the users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
